Elena Gal

Elena is a Senior Research Associate in the Mathematics of Health AI working in the CHI Lab, Institute of Biomedical Engineering, University of Oxford. Prior to that she was a CIMDA Postdoctoral Fellow working in Prof. Terry Lyons group in the Oxford Maths Department.

A pure mathematician by training, Elena's research interests lie on the interface of mathematics, deep learning and health informatics. She is particularly interested in multi-task and multi-domain learning, as well as machine learning methods arising from the rough path theory.
